During this crucial meeting, we complete a comprehensive client selections checklist and discuss the finer details of your project. We'll ask you to bring any existing ideas, plans, sketches, photos, and most importantly, a realistic budget range that we can work towards. This stage is about understanding your lifestyle needs and ensuring we can translate your vision into a buildable reality.
From here, our approach depends on where you're at in the design process. If you already have full architectural documentation, we can move forward immediately by reaching out to our trusted subcontractors and suppliers to provide you with a detailed, fixed-price quote. If you're still at the concept stage, we'll provide pricing for your initial ideas and guide you through obtaining full documentation. This might include architectural drawings, client selections, soil reports, engineering, energy reports, and any planning permits that may be required.
Once you accept our quote, we move towards preparing the detailed contract paperwork. We handle all the administrative details including purchasing builders' warranty insurance and providing you with copies of all relevant documentation. From here, you'll be issued a deposit payment invoice, and once paid, we'll apply for your building permit while you finalise any remaining selections.
With building permits approved and all documentation in place, we can work towards setting a start date. Once construction begins, you'll be kept informed throughout the entire project through regular onsite meetings, phone calls, and emails. Progress and budget will be constantly monitored, and any variations will be discussed, quoted, and agreed upon before any work is undertaken.
